Love love love on this sweet & spooky Halloween night!
Hope your night was full of treats and tons of fun.
Filled with kisses and cream, & pumpkin buckets filled with candy corn...
costumes and giggles,
with door bells ringing...
and tired little girls,
a
bath tub full of sparkles,
stained with a ring of freshly rinsed
pink and purple temporary hair dye.
A trail of crinkled candy wrappers,
leading to the pillows
where
soft tiny faces lay.
With the wings of angels and fairies carefully hung
by the stairway with care,
and loads of collected candy loot gathered
by the lunch boxes,
carefully intended for tomorrow's afternoon treat.
It all makes for happy hearts going to sleep with another year of sweet memories made...
and time for bedtime kisses
for all the snuggled up little ones
grateful for the blessing
of
yet another chance to
BE
IN THE
MAGIC
of what they will someday
remember & reflect upon
as their own
beloved
CHILDHOOD.
{And a chance for all of us to send EVEN MORE LOVE to those children who don't have the luxury of these simple indulgences....}
