My Dear Hearts...
I'm so blessed to say that come this time tomorrow, I will be strolling the majestic streets of Paris!!! I am beside myself with excitement and can hardly BELIEVE that my dream of hanging out in the French country side will soon be manifesting in the days ahead. I will be bringing loads of blank journals, fresh calligraphy pens, my new big -girl camera (the Nikon D80), and a wide open heart that's ready to absorb all that my incredible journey has to offer.
Since my life hasn't exactly been painless or pretty much of the last year, it's with a very grateful soul that I embark on this trip to celebrate the true beauty of life, and love. Even though the road has been a bit bumpy leading me here, I am immensely grateful for all that I have endured because without those moments of sorrow and grief, this trip wouldn't be as special or as sweet.
I will be eager to share all that I've learned, discovered, and explored as soon as I get back to the states. I promise, the blogging break I've taken over the past few months will be over (for real, this time!) :-) and I will make good on my commitment to share all that has been swirling in my heart and home. Until then...know that I send you my love and the brightest of blessings!
All my best,
~Elizabeth <3
P.S. The picture above will be David & I renewing our wedding vows at the Eiffel Tower on our 10th Anniversary. (June 12th, 1999...Bon Anniversaire, mon seul et unique!) Just for old times sake...here's the song we chose to be the theme song of our wedding video. The pic will fade about the 4:00 mark, but the guitar in this version is epic...
