Dear Hearts,
Hellooooo....anybody out there? Are you still here? You are?? Man, you're the best! Thanks for being patient with me while I unplugged and took a blogging break. (I totally wouldn't blame you if you had given up on me updating this lonely 'lil thing! :-) It's been a bit. It's hard for me to believe how much time has passed since I went to the MOM 2.O Summit....I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that it's already mid-March! Really??? How did that happen? It seems like things have been going, going, going since the last time I checked in with all of you.
I took a pretty nasty little spill while trying to learn some new backwards moves on roller-skates, and ended up breaking one of my elbows, and badly hurting the other. I'm slowly getting better now, and feeling more and more like myself again. It was tough to type, and do much of anything else while having broken little arms...but I am grateful that all is healing as it should, and I will soon be dancing/skating/blogging/and fluttering my wings freely again.
It's been such a busy start to Spring...and I have lots of good things to share with you! There are some new changes that will be happening here at Polka-dots & Moonbeams and other exciting announcements about a few different projects that I have in the works. I promise to fill you in on all that I've been doing over the past few weeks, and all that I have planned for the months ahead as soon as I return from here.
For now, I'm curled up in front of this fireplace, only steps from the Pacific Ocean with the cool night breeze blowing off the coast. As I type, the mist from the sea is thick, unlike the moon that is glowing as a very thin slice of light. I'm getting sleepy while the sounds of the crashing waves are singing me a sweet and familiar song that is reminiscent of my childhood days spent here.
It makes my heart happy to be living by the light of the sun, and loving by the light of the moon in my old hometown of San Diego, California. As usual, under this sky...I've been dreaming big, laughing hard, loving deep, and trusting in the energy of life that guides me.
In between all that, I've also been twirling on the beach with sandy feet and collecting rocks that I plan to soon paint. (Ooooh yes, and shopping...been doing plenty of that, too! :-)
This time here has served me well. I'll be going *home* with a battery re-charged and a Spirit refreshed. I hope that you too, have found some comfort in the warmth and beauty of Spring!
Tower 23 is where I'll be until I get my head and heart back into the blogging space...
Oceans of love,
P.S. "Until Morning" has been one of my theme songs of this trip...LOVE it! <3
