"If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome."

::: Winter :::
Happy Birthday, to my "little" brother, affectionately as known as "Junkle"...
For many months, every Thursday night was our "Skate Night" and we would take all the neighborhood kids to the roller rink. Oh my, let me just tell you how old you feel when you go to a place like that. Talk about a time warp...lol...
The Skate Queen still reigns...
Until trying some backwards move, falls...and gracefully breaks both elbows. :-(
Ouch...this really hurts! Who knew frozen strawberries could ever feel so good???
The very next morning, was "Go Texans" day for the girls at school. Bummer, that there would be no funky chicken or hokey pokey for me! With me down for the count, cheers to Poppa James for stepping in to be the dance partner for both my sunflower sprouts...
A super pink and sweet Valentine's Day....
Yay!! After years and years of driving a suburban...no more mommy car for me!!!! Now, if I could only get used to how low-low- low it rides. Yes, I really could start signing..."Them baggy sweat pants, boots with the fur, Shawty got low, low, low"....
We welcomed to the world, little miss Sweet Caroline....
Happy Birth~day!!! Here she comes...and the whole wide world awaits.
Somewhere around this time of year, I became slightly obsessed with the movie, "Avatar". On accident one night, we took these pics and they turned out to be blue! Ayla & I were both laughing for hours...
All that's missing is our long blue tails....with the yellow fluff at the end. {Did you know that yellowtailing = daydreaming!?!}
At any moment, she thought I would begin to speak in Na'vi...lol...
Ava lost her front tooth and is the last of my babies to give me this sweet but snaggled tooth smile...
It was a bone-breaking-ly beautiful winter, indeed!
xoxo
