The blame game is so 2003.
True story: Tonight as we were cleaning the house, my girls were being silly about chores, and my youngest who is pretty feisty & spirited insisted that it wasn't her fault that there were crumbs on the floor.
I asked each one of them, "Allie, was that you who made such a mess with the chips?" She laughed & replied, "No way, not me!"
Next in line..."Ayla honey, was that you who was eating chips outside the kitchen???" She softly replied, "Oh nooooo Mommy, that wasn't me!
Lastly, came little Ava...
Okay, little lady
I know it must have been you who left a trail of bright orange crumbs from the kitchen leading to the guest room.
I asked, "Ava, was it you??"
Just then, my oldest chimed in to say, "Of coarse it was Ava!!"
Ava turns to her sister with her hand on her hip and sharply quips,
"Whatever, Allie McBlamer!!!"
Hahahaha...
Clever, Ava. And very cute.
So, the question is...
How many "McBlame-ers" do you have in our own life? How many people surround you who might be overly quick to judge, condemn, criticize, or denounce your sometimes human flaws and behaviours?
Hopefully, not many.
But, if you do...
then let this be a gentle reminder to take that criticism with a grain of salt.
Because in reality, if God isn't judging,
then why should they???
Be well. And be happy...
Sending you sweet & non-judgemental hugs,
xoxo
